ABTA take “financial insurance to protect yourself”..

One million new consumer leaflets outlining the benefits of booking a holiday with an ABTA member have been produced by the organisation, but the cost of the insurance is hidden.

Holidaymakers will be given the leaflets so they are aware of the services on offer when choosing to book through an ABTA travel agent or operator.

HOWEVER holiday makers must take out insurance to protect themselves financially…

The leaflets highlight how ABTA members offer a “worry-free” holiday as consumers can financially protect against a travel company going out of business and take advantage of a far-reaching code of conduct, which ensures high standards above and beyond legal requirements.
