  4. Hi mags re Leisure direction

Your card company is taking the mickey, get them on the phone and threaten to take them to court…

This comes under various acts including the supply of goods, you do not need a letter the company has closed down.

If they want proof tell them to ring ABTA claims on 01243 621 500

  5. Does anybody know how long it takes to get a letter of negative response from ABTA in order to get a refund from creditcard operator. They will do nothing for me until I sent them same. I have been waiting patiently for ABTA to send me this letter for the last couple of weeks now.

  7. Booked a holiday in France for my 4 grandchildren. Paid in full, they would not accept credit card only debit card. Received note from French Freedom Holidays informing me my holiday was safe, that’s a laugh, only safe if I pay them the same as Leisure Direction. Read I should get my money back, but when?

    Very unhappy pensioner

  11. “Another dodgy ABTA travel agent ” this is a grossly unfair and inaccurate accusation but I can’t agree more with “Now even more dodgy they have reopened as, Leisure direction travel what con men they are”. This is the scam of the year as everything looks like the old website and these people are not even bonded so if they go bust everyone will loose their money. Leisure Direction was ABTA bonded so everyone should get their money back.

On the beach holidays review

Beware of, OTBEACH or ON THE BEACH Holidays plus otbeach.co.uk and finally OntheBeach.co.uk -

On the beach complaints and reviewsOn the Beach Otbeach warning.

Or check out - On the beach holidays, ot beach, I book holidays a con site?

otbeach on the beach holidays The bulk of the "On the beach complaints" concern - Persistent call backs after you think you have booked online to ask for more, huge extra cost surcharges. Extremely poor customer service .

According to ABTA they trade as: On the Beach, I book holidays, Otbeach so be careful.
