Cyprus Airport causing problems again

We all know air traffic controllers are the laziest people on the planet, but since tourism is the main industry on Cyprus they are now a bit on the stupid side as well…

Controllers at Larnaca and Paphos airports will stop working for four hours beginning at noon today, with more strikes planned for March 7, 12 and 15.

This combined action mean traffic controllers in two of Cyprus’s airports are set to go on strike.  The government and the controllers are at loggerheads over pay and weeks of talks have so far failed to produce a breakthrough.

Last month controllers shut down the island’s airports for four hours, affecting some 5,000 passengers
